This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the Waqt - Jumu'ah Blocker app (the "App") in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Personal Information the App Collects When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. However, we strictly limit our data collection to the absolute minimum required for the App to function:

• Store Information: We collect your shop domain (myshopify.com URL) and your shop's timezone.
• App Configuration Data: We store the settings you configure within the App's dashboard (Jumu'ah start time, duration, and custom banner messages). This data is synchronized with your store's Metafields.

Important Note regarding Customer Data: The App operates securely via Shopify Functions (Cart Validation) and does not collect, view, or store any personal data of your end-customers (no names, emails, addresses, or payment details).

2. How Do We Use Your Personal Information? We use the information we collect strictly to provide and maintain the App's core functionality. Specifically:

• To identify your store and manage your active subscription via the Shopify Billing API.
• To apply your specific time configurations to temporarily pause your store's checkout during the designated hours.
• To provide customer support if you contact us.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share your information with the following trusted third-party services that make the App function:

• Shopify: To synchronize your settings (Metafields) and process your subscription billing.
• Hosting Providers: Our secure backend infrastructure relies on Supabase (database) and Railway (hosting) to securely store your App configurations.

4. Data Retention and Deletion We retain your store's configuration data only for as long as the App is installed on your Shopify store. If you uninstall the App, you may request the complete deletion of your data from our database by contacting us. In accordance with Shopify's data privacy requirements, we will process data erasure requests within 30 days.

5. Changes We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
